This programme has been designed for those who have not already qualified as Domestic Energy Assessors and who do not intend to do so, but who wish to further develop their skills and carry out non-domestic energy assessments.
To provide the knowledge and understanding required to generate non-domestic Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) as well as advising members of the public about the benefits of energy saving measures.

Anyone already qualified as a Domestic Energy Assessor who wishes to further develop their skills and carry out non-Domestic Energy Assessments (commercial and public buildings).
PLEASE NOTE: For those wishing to carry out non-domestic energy assessments without carrying out domestic energy assessments, a separate non-domestic energy assessor course is available.

A portfolio of evidence needs to be compiled by the candidate in their own time and therefore the length of the course largely depends upon the individual.
However the portfolio must be successfully completed and signed off as such within two years from commencement of the course.
Classroom-based
Computer-based time-limited multiple-choice question exam, an 'on-site' practical assessment and the completion of a portfolio of evidence.
Candidates who successfully complete the assessment will receive an ABBE Level 4 Diploma in Non Domestic Energy Assessment qualification.
Candidates will be provided with a training pack.
