Commercial Gas Catering Training

Introduction

Upgrade course designed to assist candidates who require re-assessment training or for new entrants to commercial catering who already hold their Natural Gas Core ACS qualification (CCN1 or an appropriate changeover).

Course objectives/key benefits

On completion delegates will be able to demonstrate their safety awareness and competency in the contents of the course listed below in Natural Gas or LPG (with the appropriate core gas safety or changeover qualifications).

Who is the course aimed at?

Anyone who intends to work on commercial gas catering installations.

Entry requirements/pre-requisites

Any operatives undertaking these assessments must hold an appropriate core gas safety qualification or relevant changeover qualification.

For those who do not hold the relevant core gas safety qualifications South West Assessment and Training offer a Managed Learning Programme Gas course for new entrants.

Where entry requirements are met, training is available but not mandatory.

Materials Required/Provided

The assessment, following this training, is open book and it is therefore highly recommended that candidates undertaking it have an up-to-date gas publication.
