BPEC Ventilation Installer Training

Introduction

Domestic ventilation became 'Notifiable Work' on 1st October 2010 as part of the 2010 revision to Approved Document F of the Building Regulations.

This means ventilation provision in new homes must be commissioned by a suitably qualified person, for which there is now a specific qualification.

To ensure installers are qualified to complete domestic ventilation installation, commissioning and hand-over, South West Assessment and Training offer this industry-recognised BPEC accredited training program.

Course objectives/key benefits

To ensure that installers of any of the common types of domestic ventilation systems in the UK comply with Part F of the UK Building Regulations.

It also sets out to ensure that installers fit they systems safely and efficiently, as well as be able to inspect and test, commission and handover any of the common types of domestic ventilation systems in the UK.

Anyone wishing to installer domestic ventilation systems as well as specifiers, designers, architects, merchants and anyone else who is involved with them.
