The IQA verifier award is a single QCF unit which replaces the previous D34/v1 qualifications.
The revised standards are designed to reflect the requirements of Internal Verifiers in all occupational sectors, and are the benchmark of good practice in the Internal Verification of QCF qualifications.
V1 is a nationally recognised and widely used competence based programme that enables individuals to conduct internal quality assurance checks of the assessment process.
This unit also contributes towards a QCF Level 3 and Level 4 in Learning and Development.
Anyone wishing to carry out internal verification.
Candidates should hold a recognised and current Assessors Award (TAQA) qualification.
This is an ongoing process which has a maximum time limit of three years for completion from the date of commencement.
Candidates are required to compile a portfolio of evidence and will also need to undertake observed assessments.
Candidates who successfully complete the assessment will receive an EAL IQA Verifier's Award.
