LPG training (conversion from Natural Gas)
Training course covering all aspects of gas safety specifically designed for those wishing to achieve the LPG changeover from Natural Gas.

On completion delegates will be able to demonstrate their safety awareness and competency in the contents of the course listed below.
Who is the course aimed at?
Those with experience of natural gas and who hold up-to-date ACS qualifications.
Candidates undertaking this training/assessment must hold a current and relevant ACS core gas qualification.
For those who do not hold the relevant core gas safety qualifications South West Assessment and Training offer a Foundation Gas course.
- Legislation and unsafe situations
- Medium Pressure LPG Gas Meters Gas
- Domestic LPG pipework installation
- Gas Rating on LPG gas meters
- Tightness testing
- Taking appropriate action when dealing with unsafe appliances
- LPG cylinder sizing
- Correct location of LPG cylinders and bulk tanks
- LPG bulk tanks and their controls
- LPG regulator sizing
Practical workshop and theory
Candidates will be eligible to undertake the relevant LPG assessment(s) immediately following the training.
PLEASE NOTE: Training is not a pre-requisite requirement of assessment
Recommendation for assessment under ACS for the relevant LPG qualification(s).
