LOGIC CERTIFICATION Domestic Electrical Installer course

Introduction

South West Assessment and Training offer this Logic Certification traiing course to cover the requirements of domestic installation and at the end of the course students will have a sufficient level of competence, so that once registered with a relevant body, they will be able to work safely, efficiently and legally on domestic electrical installations.

Even with a limited electrical knowledge, candidates will be provided with the required training to enable them to understand electrical terminology and theory and provide them with practical skills.

To provide candidates with the required knowledge, understanding and skills to undertake electrical work within domestic properties

Who is the course aimed at?

Anyone wishing to carry out electrical work within a domestic dwelling.

Entry requirements/pre-requisites

There are no entry/pre-requisite requirements to undertaking this course.

The course is designed for students of either gender and is open to all ages. Students wishing to enrol can speak to a member of the SWAAT training staff to be advised of their suitability.

Mainly practical workshop with some theory

Assessment

Practical assessment and multiple-choice question papers.

Course Outcome/Qualification

Candidates who successfully complete the assessment will receive a LOGIC CERTIFICATION certificate in Domestic Electrical Installation and will be eligible to join a Part P competent persons scheme.

PLEASE NOTE: Anyone either belonging to, or wishing to join a Competent Person Scheme for Part P, must also hold the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
