Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations

Introduction

This course provides anyone involved in the handling, storage or use of chemicals or substances hazardous to health information regarding their obligations under the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations, as well as other relevant legislation.

It also applies to anyone responsible for the supervision or management of anyone handling, storage or use of chemicals or substances hazardous to health.

Course objectives/key benefits

To provide a knowledge and understanding of the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations and other legislation affecting involving the handling, storing or using chemicals or substances hazardous to health.

Anyone using, storing or handling chemicals or substances hazardous to health as well as anyone responsible for the supervision or management of such.

Assessment

Although there is no formal assessment a question paper related to the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health is given to each candidate to complete at the end of the course.

Course Outcome/Qualification

All candidates who attend this course will receive a SWAAT Certificate in the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health
