EAL Level 1 Health and Safety in a Construction Environment
As from 1st July 2014 the Green Construction Site Operative (CSO) Card will no longer be issued by Construction Skills Certificate Scheme (CSCS). Instead, there will be a new Green Labourer Card.
Course objectives/key benefits
This qualification covers the knowledge of the principles of risk assessments, the importance of safe manual handling, working safely at height, the risks to health within a construction environment and the importance of working around plant and equipment safely.

Anyone working in the construction industry who requires the new site safety card.

Two days (including assessment)
Multiple assessment methods
Candidates who successfully complete the assessment will receive an EAL Level 1 Health and Safety in a Construction Environment certificate.
This will enable them to apply for the Green Labourer Card
Candidates will be provided with a training pack.
